Without Top Class there is no way that our wedding would have run so smoothly and have been the perfect day that it was. Many of my guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and one even said that if I was on “Four Weddings”, I would have won! From the first time that I met Steven when he came to our home, we were blown away by all of the options available to us and how far we could go to personalise our wedding. I, like many, was skeptical about the service and quality of food we would receive for the price of the packages, however we were anything but disappointed!!! From our very first meeting with Stevie, we were put at ease by the friendly service, and were guided through every step of choosing what we wanted to make our wedding day special. Unlike most companies, who want to squeeze as much money out of you as possible when you mention the word “wedding”, Stevie using his experience of the venue and the wedding industry, advised us as to what would turn out to be an unnecessary expense. Throughout the process we knew the choice was ours, they would have provided anything that we wanted, however we appreciated the honesty and with the day now passed, he was absolutely correct. The food was exceptional, we went for the Platinum Plus package which we cannot recommend highly enough, and every person who dined at our wedding commented on how amazing the food was!!! Well done to Raymond and the kitchen staff, and the waiting staff who were efficient and polite. Stevie was an exceptional toastmaster who made everyone feel at ease by injecting some humour into the day/night. Any email or question I had was answered promptly, recommendations for other companies were not a problem. We arrived on the day 45 mins early and the staff dealt with it great, the hall and decoration was gorgeous, the cake was out of this world, the flow of the day was perfect which made a happy bride and groom, meals were beautiful and the lentil soup and steak pie are out of this world and I was told the vegetarian option was just as good. I was kept informed from gillian throughout the day about everything that would happen, the turnaround from day to nightime was very fast with no one having to leave the hall. When choosing my entertainment I wanted something different so chose the shuggy wuggy experience which I think will be spoken about for months to come we had 150 guests doing the slosh, evolution of dance, bride being serenaded by the stags, groom being entertained by the hens, an old school dance half hour, boy george lookalike stag competition and many more laughs in between. You get all you pay for and more my 2 year old was loaded with the flu and gillian told my hubby to drink his pint while she got the baby to sleep nothing was ever a problem. Kindest regards, Date of Posting: 14 July 2015 Firstly in terms of the planning they were so flexible and happy to make alterations to their packages to suit our needs. Whereas we found that with some of the other caterers we met were so rigid and wouldn’t accommodate any changes without charging a lot of money, Raymond was always willing to make the package work for us, which was a big thing for us. We met Raymond on several occasions before the wedding itself and went through everything that was required for the day in detail. Raymond was all over the planning of what was needed and filled us with confidence from the off. He always responded to emails quickly and really put our minds at rest. As our wedding was set in the grounds of a private castle there was no one person in charge and we were having to deal with a large number of different suppliers which was difficult at times. However, both Raymond and Stephen were more than prepared to be the point of contact on the day and liaised with all of our suppliers to ensure that everything arrived on time and was in the right place on the morning of the wedding. In terms of the wedding itself, Stephen, Raymond and his staff really delivered an excellent service from the set up of the marquee, the canapés and drinks reception, the meal, the evening buffet and the bar service. The food was excellent, the portions were big and everyone was extremely well fed and watered. They dealt with any issues that arose on the day with minimal fuss, and that made it so much easier for us in being able to enjoy our day. I cannot recommend these guys enough and if you are looking for caterers for either your wedding or a large event, you should definitely book Top Class! Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all the staff who had a part in making our wedding so special and go without a hitch! From the point of booking to the very last minute of the night topclass really did live up to there name. Gillian was there at every point I needed her during the day from setting up my tables to calming my nerves before walking down the aisle she truly is a amazing girl and all my guest raved about her. The bar set up was amazing – so modern with the led lighting and more importantly…. was well stocked with every kind of spirit, champagne and even an “I DO” cocktail that went down a treat.

From initially meeting Stevie and Raymond I was put at ease, they took care of everything enabling us to enjoy our day. The transformation of the hall was fantastic. Please tell me, as everyone is asking, what is the name of the fizz you served on arrival? The food was delicious and Stevie even offered to go and get my fussy 22 year old son something else to eat as he doesn’t eat chicken or steak pie (I forgot to order him something different!).

Stephen, Raymond and all staff thank you so much! Our day was amazing. From the attentive service Stephen gave our bridal party all day, to all the staff being very professional. Everything we asked to be done was done, from setting center pieces, champagne glass to be set out, everything was perfect. Seeing the room transformations was amazing. Florists, deliveries, cake, Dance floor, photo booth, DJ, singing waiters, bar service, over 100 guests and every single part of our day was perfect. Food was gorgeous, I could not fault one part of the 5 course meal! Kids meals were lovely, veg option catered too. Evening buffet rolls went down very well…
We can not thank you enough for the service you provided. We will without a doubt be recommending you to everyone we know.

19th July 2014Well top class caterers I don’t even know where to start. Let’s even start off by saying thank you so much for all the effort your staff put into making our day go smoothly. Nothing was too Much for them and they worked there little socks off.

And last but most certainly not least was Steven who was an absolute diamond of a man, he was so organised and made me and my new hubby feel so much at ease, especially when a certain company never done the job they were supposed to. It could have been a brides worst nightmare but Steven made sure I was ok from start to finish and even went out his way to try and fix seething that wasn’t his fault. Just exceptional…..
Brides to be, if you are still not 100% sure on who to book your special day with then please take my work for it, top class were amazing and your day will as exactly as you planned it.

I’d like to make particular mention of Jamie! He was fantastic! He made me feel like royalty and the most important person ever! The food was exceptional (I had delicious steak) and the service we received (and our guests!! Also mentioned it) was impeccable! A big thank you to Stephen and Raymond for helping to make our wedding so wonderful!
As a couple who were (very) stressed about planning our big day, we were assured that everything would work out well on the day – and it did! The Top Class team made the hall look wonderful – much better than we could ever have imagined. The five course dinner was delicious and the toast master service really helped make sure things ran smoothly. Stephen also introduced a little game amongst the guests which added a lot of fun and laughter to the proceedings! Everything was organised flawlessly, and it meant we didn’t have anything to worry about.
The bar service was excellent with guests making the most of the reasonable prices and wedding themed cocktails! It truly was service with a smile, with banter at the bar and all requests being met.
We’d definitely recommend Top Class – they offer so much more than just a catering service and are excellent value for money.

My boyfriend and I recently got engaged and soon after attended a friend’s wedding, where top class catering were the organisers. The food was amazing, the prices at the bar were as good as they get and the day ran so smoothly – everyone said that it was one of the best weddings they had been to. We were very impressed with Top Class, but when we saw their prices, we assumed there must be a catch as the prices were great!. We phoned Steven who came out to our house at a time which was suitable for us, and he talked us through everything. We discovered that there were no catches and that they are extremely flexible to help us get our day just how we want it. We have since booked them and can’t wait to work with them to plan our special day.

Hi Guys, just wanted to get in touch to thank you so much for the set up, catering and the bar at our wedding. The food was delicious and just what we wanted. Special thanks for letting us do things a bit differently with the Italian style buffet and letting us serve. It could have been a caterers nightmare but you guys were happy for me to get involved and I think it went pretty well. Having Raymond come out way at the beginning of the wedding planning to go through everything was exactly what we needed and put our minds at ease from day dot! Thanks to Steven too for being on the email over the course of the year to answer all my random questions and help me out with questions about layout and decorations. You guys really know your stuff. I don’t think the day could have been anymore perfect for us and James the MC really made sure the day went smoothly and made sure we were all well looked after. Prospective bride and grooms, these are the caterers of choice, look no further, the service you will receive from start to finish goes over an above expectation. They deliver so much more than great food they are basically wedding planners too and will keep you right at every step of the way. Top class not only gave us a menu that we wanted and loved, they sourced and supplied us candelabras, an amazing wedding cake from special days, chair covers and sashes, a well stocked bar with a special “I do” cocktail that went down a treat and amazing staff who couldn’t have been more helpful – all of this for a price that felt too good to be true. More often than not you pay excessive amounts of money for caterers and hall set up and design. Top class won’t do this to you and do everything to keep your costs as low as possible and your guests happy. Happy to be contacted about top class if anyone is considering booking them but wants to speak to someone who has used them before. After narrowing down our choice for outside caterers for my son’s wedding, we arranged to meet with Stephen in his new showroom. We were so impressed with his knowledge and experience. He talked my son and his fiancée through their day and at all times was very flexible with what they wanted. The packages top class catering offer are excellent value for money and they do not just do the catering. Stephen or one of his colleagues manages the day to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The showroom also has displays from other wedding suppliers, which was very useful. We had done quite a lot of research regarding reviews of caterers on the internet and decided top class catering were who we wanted. Stephen wanted us to think about it but my son and his fiancee were sure of their choice. As we were leaving Stephen said that as they were the first booking in the new showroom, he would give them complimentary mood lighting for their venue. Wonderful !

We had our wedding with you on 9th of May and I can honestly say that booking with top class was the best decision we made for our wedding.
